About
I’m a junior research assistant at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, working on machine learning methods for detecting strong gravitational lensing systems.
My day job is R&D Product Manager at CloudFerro, a cloud provider serving scientific and government projects. I combine that with a physics background.
Strong lensing is what happens when a galaxy’s mass bends the light of a distant object into a near-perfect ring. I’m currently working with data from the KiDS survey; the long-term target is the Rubin Observatory (LSST), which will image billions of galaxies over a decade.
